Judged LG's own product team
LG Electronics professionals in product planning and home-appliance development evaluate every entry.
Prizes are one per individual or team. Winners are notified individually and receive prizes in person at an award ceremony in December 2026 (date and place TBA).

AI tools: allowed, must disclose
Use ChatGPT, Gemini, or any AI tool for ideas, writing, or design. List every tool and task in Part 4 of the Application Form. Undisclosed AI use means immediate disqualification.
Intellectual property
All applicants submit the signed LG Electronics Standard IP Waiver Form with Step 1. All IP rights to submitted ideas belong to LG Electronics. Students under 18 need a parent or guardian signature.
Team entries
Up to 2 students per team. A winning team receives one prize.
